On each page of this fun and educational children’s book is a work of art created by art teachers from all over the world. The teachers have chosen both an artist to emulate and a famous global landmark and created a piece that honors the work of their chosen artist. Art genres from the Renaissance era to modern works are represented. Each image includes a map icon to indicate the landmark’s country. An asterisk in the text indicates a transliteration of language and the key at the back of the book shows how the words are written in the native language. A great tool for intercurricular teaching, this book combines art history, geography, and poetry in a way that is informative and entertaining.
